About Anchuthengu Fort
Anchuthengu Fort, once known as Anjengo Fort, was the first British settlement in Kerala. Its black stone walls, now softened by age, overlook the meeting of river and sea. Within its quiet grounds, echoes of cannons and commerce linger — where the British flag once flew and trade winds carried the scent of pepper and power.
